In recent years, with the support of cutting-edge technologies such as synthetic biology, omics, and computational informatics, microbial quorum sensing system research has made a series of progress. It plays an important role in the fields of food processing, public health safety, plant disease control, water aquaculture, drug development, bioenergy, environmental governance, and protection. To communicate the latest research results and the development trends of microbial quorum sensing in the above fields and improve the basic research and application in our country, the 5th Symposium on Bacterial Quorum Sensing in Food System & the 2nd Forum for Young Scholars on Microbial Quorum Sensing will be held at Jiangsu University from September 16 to 18, 2022.
