The Second Sino-foreign Postgraduate Forum of Jiangsu University was held from Oct 29thto Nov 1st, 2012. In an enthusiastic atmosphere, the Seven postgraduates took part in the Engineering Forum Ⅱand Vice professor Wang Zhen-Bin from the School of Food and Biological Engineering, presented an academic lecture on Ultrasound Application in Food Processing. Ernest Ekow Abano, postgraduate student of School of Food and Biological Engineering, gave an academic lecture on Optimization of Drying Conditions for Quality Dried Tomato Slices Using Response Surface Methodology. Ernest Ekow Abano won the third Place after the intense competition. Rosemond Godbless Dadzie won an excellent poster award on the topic Optimization of Process Conditions for Degree of Hydrolysis and ACE Inhibitory Activity for vital wheat gluten hydrolysates. Felix Narku Engmann also did a presentation on the topic Festivals in Ghana, a Tool for Social Cohesion and Community Development and won the second best position. TCHABO William also won an excellent presentation award in the cultural festival.
