Currently, there are 12 overseas graduate students studying at School of Food and Biological Engineering. They come from Ghana, Cameroon, Sudan, Nepal, Nigeria and Egypt. In order to make overseas students integrate into a relaxed academic environment, an orientation about research and graduation requirements was organized for the students on 11th, Nov., 2014. At the seminar, Prof. Ma Haile, the Dean of the School of Food and Biological Engineering, introduced the school, and distribute FBE manuscript; Prof. Huang Xingyi, vice Dean, made a presentation entitled Graduate Student Training Program. The content of the presentation included the Program and code, Period of study and Credit Requirements, Coursework and Examinations, Dissertation Schedule, Dissertation Design and Research Approval, Assessment of Seminars, Regulations on publishing academic papers, Regulations on publishing academic papers, checkup and external assessment Comments, Dissertation Defense, Degree Evaluation, etc.
