To help new international students better understand the school and adapt to their study and living environment, the School of Food and Biological Engineering held the 2025 Orientation Meeting for International Students on November 3rd. New students from various countries attended the event.

The meeting was chaired by vice dean professor Zhou Cunshan, who first extended a warm welcome to all the new students on behalf of the school. He then introduced the school’s general profile, including its academic programs, research platforms, faculty strength, and international cooperation. Professor Zhou encouraged the students to cherish their time at Jiangsu University, actively participate in academic and cultural activities, and continuously improve their professional competence and overall capabilities. Afterwards, associate professor Hafida outlined the general academic and research roadmap for the coming years, covering aspects such as course arrangements, research training, and advice on daily life, helping students plan their studies and personal development more effectively.

During the final discussion session, students freely exchanged ideas and raised questions about their studies, research, and campus life. The atmosphere was warm and engaging. Teachers attending the meeting patiently answered each question and expressed their continued commitment to supporting international students in both their academic and personal endeavors.
