The Tenth Jinshan High-end Forum on Food Physical Processing and Top Ten Achievements Conference was successfully held in Guangzhou on November 24-26, 2023, with the participation and speeches of Beiwei Zhu, the Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Songmei Zhang, the Deputy Director of the Rural Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Jianguang An, the Secondary Inspector of Guangdong Science and Technology Department, Xiaobo Zou, the Vice President of Jiangsu University, and Yong Xu, the Vice President of South China University of Technology. The opening ceremony was presided by the Vice President of Foshan Institute of Science and Technology.

In order to strengthen the scholarly communication of food physical processing, with the full support of the Rural Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Jiangsu University has established the annual conference “Jinshan Food Physical Processing Symposium” since 2014, which is divided into four series, namely, the high-end forum, international forum, youth forum, and enterprise forum. The symposium of this year is the turn of the high-end forum, and the theme is: Strengthen the foundation by physical processing, drive innovation by reviewing achievements. This forum has received strong support from 54 brother colleges and research institutes across the country, with nearly 300 participants, 63 parallel sub-forum reports, 20 graduate forum reports. The symposium focuses on the application of modern physical processing technologies such as ultra-high pressure, ultrasonic, electric field, magnetic field, plasma, microwave, infrared, pulse strong light, radio frequency, etc. in food processing and manufacturing.
