Prof. Amevi Acakpovi, the deputy chancellor and Prof. Felix Kutsanedzi, the dean of Mechanical Engineering Department with their delegation from Accra Technical University visited FBE on November 1st, 2023. Prof. Janfeng Pan, the director of the International Exchange Department of Jiangsu University, welcomed the guests. And Prof. Cunshan Zhou, the vice dean of the School of Food and Biological Engineering hosted the collaboration meeting at the meeting room 302 in Wenhua Building.
Prof. Janfeng Pan introduced the situation of Sino-foreign cooperation and the cultivation of international students in our school, and warmly welcomed the visit of Prof. Amevi Acakpovi and his delegation. He fully acknowledged the fruitful achievements made by the two universities in scientific research cooperation, talent cultivation, and other aspects over the past decade, and looked forward to further accelerating cooperation between the two sides. Prof. Amevi Acakpovi expressed gratitude for the close cooperation, and pointed out that Prof. Felix Kutsanedzi graduated from the School of Food and Biological Engineering, who is an excellent researcher trained by Jiangsu University. Faulty members in our school had in-depth discussions with the Canadian side on important issues related to Sino-foreign cooperation and exchange, as well as joint laboratory application.
The delegation also visited the labs, met with international graduate students from Accra Technical University, and encouraged them to study hard and enhance their abilities. The visit of Prof. Amevi Acakpovi and his delegation further deepened the friendly exchange between Accra Technical University and our school, and we look forward to achieving more fruitful results in our future cooperation.
