On April 12, Professor Lin Dingbo from the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Oklahoma State University visited the School of Food and Biological Engineering (FBE), and gave an academic lecture entitled "The Effects of Carotenoids on Health". Prof. Zhang Hongyin, vice-dean of FBE, hosted the lecture and introduced Prof. Lin. Some faculty members and Foreign –Sino students of the school attended the lecture.
Prof. Lin is working in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Oklahoma State University. He is the final review expert of the National Institutes of Health, the editorial board member and reviewer of several SCI international journals. Professor Lin focuses on research of food bioactive components, nutritional metabolism, and the impact of intestinal flora on health. He has published more than 70 papers and submitted more than 80 papers to academic conferences.
