Recently, Professor Ma Haile of School of Food and Biological Engineering was elected as a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RAEN).
Professor Ma Haile is the Dean of the Institute of Food Physical Processing, Jiangsu University. He is the Chief Scientist of the National Key R&D Program and the winner of the Outstanding Contribution Award of the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology. From 2014 to 2021, he served as the Vice Chairman of the Asian Association for Agricultural Engineering. In 2021, he was elected as the chairman of the Food Equipment and Intelligent Manufacturing Branch of the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology, and established 6 provincial research platforms including the Technology Integration Base for Vegetable Dehydration Processing Ministry of Agriculture, P. R. China and the Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Food Physical Processing, etc.
