On Mar.21, Minglin Ma from Cornell University, Visited Jiangsu University. Zou Xiaobo, dean of School of Food and Biological Engineering, hosted the lecture.Dr. Minglin Ma. delivered an academic lecture named Developing Advanced Biomaterials for Cellular Medicine (and Food Safety). More than 70 Sino-foreign faculty members and students attended the lecture.After the lecture, he also visited lab of School of Food and Biological Engineering.

Minglin Ma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological and Environmental Engineering, Cornell University, Ithaca. He received a B.A. in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). He joined Cornell University in 2013. His research has focused on biomedical engineering; he received many awards, including: Junior Faculty Award from American Diabetes Association, Non-tenured Faculty Award from 3M Co., Individual Biomedical Research Award from Hartwell Foundation, Bio-manufacturing Award and Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering Young Innovator Award from American Society of Biomedical Engineering. He has published more than 40 academic papers for journals, including Science, PNAS, Nature Materials, Nature Biotechnology, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Nano Letters.
