3rd International Symposium on Food Nutrition and Safety hold successfully

The3rdInternational Symposium on Food Nutrition and Safety on line and offline was held onOctober26, 2021. Prof. Zou Xiaobo,Dean of School of Food and Biological Engineering hosted the symposium, and introduced the achievement of the Research Center for one year.Prof. Maurizio Battino from Università Politecnica delle Marche,Italy, Prof. Maria Daglia from University of Naples Federico II, Italy, Prof. Xiao Jianbo from University of Vigo, Prof. Hesham R. El-Seedi from Uppsala University, Sweden and Prof. Michael Norman Routledge from University of Leeds, attended the symposium and delivered lectures respectively.At the same time, they also discussed the joint application of scientific research projects, recommendation of excellent talents to join Jiangsu University, promotion of the establishment of joint journals, organization of international conferences, so as to promote the development of food science and engineering and related disciplines and enhance the international influence of our university.

The International Joint Research Center on Food Nutrition and Safety was established on August 12,2019. Despite the impact of epidemic, the experts connected with the research team of the school of food and bioengineering of Jiangsu University and participated in the teaching, scientific research and discipline construction of our university. In the past year, experts published 91 SCI papers with Jiangsu University, including 57 papers in the first quartile of JCR. The meeting also invited leaders and experts from the University, science and Technology Department, Graduate School, School of environmental and safety engineering, School of pharmacy and School of Finance and economics to form a review team to participate in the demonstration of expert work reports.
