August 2008 –present, Professor Institute of Food Safety and Nutrition, Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences 2012/10-2013/1 Visiting Scholar The Guelph Food Research Centre, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), Canada 2014/7-2015/8 Visiting Scholar The University of Connecticut, CT, USA Scientific Research Field: Responsible for a number of projects involving research into food safety inspection, food processing and preservation. Mainly focus on the development of novel biocontrol technologies for controlling pathogenic bacteria on food, animals and in food processing environments. To date this has involved using the phage and phage endolysin to keep preservation in food processing, animal ecological breeding and antibiotic alternative development.
