Annual Jinshan Lake Dragon Boat Race is organized during Duanwu Festival by Zhenjiang government from 2010.
“The overseas dragon-boat team of JU”, consisting of bachelor and PG candidates from many countries, were invited to take part in this wonderful events in 2010 and 2011. Every team member was vigorous and eager to show. Every time the overseas students appeared, local media focused on them. Overseas students were highly moved by Chinese culture and citizens’ hospitality. During the racing, all racing members were happy and excited. Our overseas students follow the Olympic spirit of swifter, higher and stronger at the Jinshan Lake Dragon Boat Race, displaying their sportsmanship and friendship and demonstrating their spirituality of international students at Jiangsu University.
